Family Mentoring, Accompaniment, Connections in the Community 

Free Home Based Services program offering relationship-based support to families with children 0-5 years old with suspected developmental delay and/or disability diagnosis in North King County, WA

Ayllu’s home based services program, led by Latina promotoras comunitarias (community navigators) provides information, education and training resources to families and caregivers with the objective of kindergarten readiness.

 

Our program supports families in North King county (Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville, shoreline, Lake Forest Park and parts of Kirkland) at any stage from birth to kindergarten through a family centered plan with personalized goals for your family.

Our services support families who suspect developmental delay in their child, have received a recent disability diagnosis,  or experience debilitating health conditions​ effecting the child's quality of life. 

​

Our services are offered in Spanish and English and are culturally adapted for the Latino community

  • Visits to your home on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to offer support and guidance

  • Co-creation of a family-centered plan with priorities and goals for you and your family

  • Tools, supports, connections and resources to best support your child's development

  • Opportunities to gather with other families in our program â€‹

Supports and Services

  • Connection with early intervention centers (0-3 years old)

  • Support with transition into the school system

  • Support navigating the medical system

  • Support navigating the special education system

  • Help families understand their rights in the education system

  • Support positive relationships and strengthen connection with their children.

  • Help build support systems around family values and cultural context.

  • Connect families with DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration)

  • Connections with other families in the community
