Through our trusted partner Winlock Pediatrics (Dr. Violeta Gómez, FAAP, COE), Manos Unidas offers intensive autism and neurodevelopmental screenings and evaluations designed specifically for Spanish-speaking and bilingual families.

Why This Partnership Matters

• Culturally responsive care in Spanish. Evaluations are performed in a Spanish-speaking, culturally sensitive setting for families who prefer it. 

• Priority scheduling for Manos Unidas families. Families enrolled with Manos Unidas receive expedited access to diagnostic services, reducing typical wait times. 

• In-home evaluations available. When appropriate, Dr. Gómez conducts the full evaluation in your home, removing transportation barriers and observing your child in a familiar environment. 

Who We Are

• Winlock Pediatrics: Board-certified pediatrics practice focused on timely, gold-standard developmental assessments and autism diagnosis, with a mission to decrease disparities for Medicaid-eligible and minority children in Washington State.

• Manos Unidas International: Community advocacy, family mentoring, and navigation support—training parents, connecting services, and walking with families before, during, and after evaluation. 

Who Is Eligible

• Families enrolled with Manos Unidas (Ayllu Hogar or referred programs) with children for whom autism or a neurodevelopmental condition is a concern. (Manos Unidas Intl)
