Family Spotlight: Liliana’s Story

Liliana is a mother of two daughters, ages five and one. Through the Ayllu Hogar program, our team has supported her in navigating special education services, coordinating an in-home autism evaluation with our trusted partner Winlock Pediatrics, and identifying early signs of developmental delay in her youngest child.

With our guidance, Liliana was connected to early intervention services and safe spaces where she could build friendships with other mothers in the program. Despite language barriers, she has become a strong advocate for her oldest daughter—now thriving in her first month of kindergarten—and an emerging leader among other moms in our community. Both of Liliana's daughters are learning, growing and thriving.

Liliana’s story reflects the purpose of Ayllu Hogar: equipping families with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to create lasting change for their children.
