Life Skills & Community Engagement

Manos Unidas International is proud to announce four new contracts with Washington State’s Department of Disability and Community Services (DDCS) to provide individualized services for children, youth, and adults with disabilities across King and Snohomish Counties. These contracts include Staff and Family Consultation and Training, Life Skills, Community Engagement, and Peer Mentoring.

Through these contracts, we’ve launched our Life Skills and Community Services Program, building relationships with individuals with disabilities to build daily living skills, safety awareness, and effective social communication to increase independence at home and in the community. Services take place in real-world settings, allowing individuals to practice essential skills where they matter most.
