Partnering for Impact: Seeking Spanish-Speaking Pediatric Professionals & Therapists

As part of our Child Developmental Monitoring program, Manos Unidas is excited to launch an 18-month series of interactive, in-person community workshops across North King County. To ensure these sessions deliver the highest quality, culturally responsive support to local families, we are actively seeking passionate Spanish-speaking healthcare and developmental professionals to collaborate with us as co-creators and facilitators.

Interactive Workshops Rooted in Play

Designed for caregivers and young children, these workshops focus on empowering parents to nurture critical early developmental milestones—including social, communication, motor, and problem-solving skills—through joyful, hands-on play. At the conclusion of each session, families are invited to participate in a free developmental screening with our team.

Our inaugural session will take place on September 10 at the Centro Cultural Mexicano in Redmond, marking the start of a transformative 18-month journey across the region.

Who We Are Seeking

While our dedicated team brings deep expertise in early learning and community education, we want to enrich these workshops with specialized clinical and therapeutic insights. We are looking for bilingual (Spanish-speaking) professionals in the following fields:

  • Occupational Therapists (OT)

  • Physical & Recreational Therapists (PT/RT)

  • Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP)

  • Pediatricians & Child Health Specialists

How We Collaborate

Collaborating professionals will work alongside our outreach team to help co-craft, refine, and co-facilitate engaging workshop modules.

  • Stipends Offered: We deeply value your expertise and time. Financial stipends are provided for all participating collaborators.

  • Community Impact: Help bridge health equity gaps by delivering vital early childhood knowledge directly to Spanish-speaking families in a welcoming, accessible environment.
