We Welcome Two New Members to Manos Unidas International

With great enthusiasm, we officially welcome Miriam Marez, who joins us as a Promotora for the Ayllu Hogar Program at Manos Unidas International. Miriam’s dedication to supporting families and her deep connection to the community make her a perfect addition to our mission of building inclusive, culturally responsive services for Latino families.

We are also overjoyed to welcome Laura Carlson to our team! 🌟Laura joins Manos Unidas as our Life Skills & Community Support Specialist, becoming our first staff member to provide direct services to DDA-eligible individuals ages 5 through adulthood in the Puget Sound area. She brings a powerful passion for inclusion, a deep love for her clients, and a commitment to guiding with patience, empathy, and joy.

These two talented women bring heart, expertise, and dedication to our work, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them on board. Together, we continue to expand our reach, strengthen our programs, and work toward our vision of inclusive communities filled with opportunities for all.
